Spotlight on AJ Delgadillo: Navigating Fire Trauma with Rest and Resilience

Living Advantage - Outreach

At Living Advantage, we’re proud of the incredible work our team does to support foster youth and the broader community during times of need. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our dedicated case managers, AJ Delgadillo, who recently penned a powerful article reflecting on the emotional toll of the Los Angeles fires and the importance of healing through community and intentional rest.

AJ brings a unique perspective to his work, blending a background in social services and environmental education with his experiences as a “Metropolitan Mennonite Man” navigating life in Los Angeles. His heartfelt piece dives into the mental and emotional challenges posed by disasters like these fires and shares actionable ways to help individuals and families recover.
