Living Advantage, Inc. is proud to highlight an upcoming USC event that invites our community to reflect on a powerful question: What does the American Dream mean to you?
For over 20 years, USC and the Trojan community have supported Living Advantage, Inc. through education, mentorship, community engagement, and opportunities that help uplift the youth we serve. As big Trojan fans, we are always excited to share events that encourage learning, leadership, and meaningful conversation.

This August, the USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future and the USC Open Dialogue Project are inviting community members to join the National Roundtable on the American Dream, a series of small-group conversations where people from different backgrounds can share their experiences, listen to one another, and help shape a national conversation.
At Living Advantage, Inc., this conversation connects deeply to our mission. Every day, we work with foster and justice-involved youth who are building their own version of the American Dream through education, career readiness, life skills, mentorship, and access to vital resources. We believe every young person deserves the chance to dream, plan, and succeed — no matter where their story begins.
The event is free and virtual, with conversation dates offered during the week of August 10–15, 2026, including Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Participants will join small-group discussions focused on listening, learning, and understanding, not debating or persuading. Insights from the conversations will also contribute to a national report published by Newsweek.
We encourage our LA, Inc. community, partners, supporters, and youth to learn more and consider joining the conversation. Your voice matters, your story matters, and your dream matters.
