Living Advantage, Inc. recently hosted our Money Confidence: Know Your Numbers workshop in a hybrid format, bringing together youth from Manual Arts High School and Inspire Together, as well as online participants.
We were joined virtually by Jess Tirado, Vice President at Citizens Business Bank, who shared his knowledge, practical banking tips, and advice to help participants feel more confident managing their money. Youth learned about basic banking, tips for opening a bank account, certificates of deposit, and the magic of compound interest, including how small money moves can grow over time.
The workshop was interactive and engaging, with three participants recognized for showing up, asking questions, and staying involved throughout the session - winning 10 bucks each.

To close out the day, participants enjoyed free pizza and the chance to connect, reflect, and celebrate what they learned.
