This workshop gave youth the tools to do what most adults wish they learned sooner: understand taxes, decode a paycheck, and start building long-term wealth through smart investments.
Attendees got a real-world breakdown of paycheck deductions, tax terms like FICA and withholding, and the difference between retirement accounts like Roth IRAs vs. 401(k)s. We also explored non-retirement investments and how to spot financial scams that sound too good to be true.
